Google allows you turn on/off the tracking feature and they only link it to a UID - nothing else.
Install it with the option turned off to not track the data and then watch the packets leaving your machine and see what they are tracking - I would guess a whole lotta jack and shit.
I like the fact that you can click on the text that you searched for - each as their own button - it then jumps to the next instance of that in the text.
That said, I don't have that on this system, I have Safari under Mac.
