yeah who can say no to forrest? Anyway I also love Tom Hanks earlier works like The Burbs' and The Money Pit! A Masterpiece if I would say so myself!

i loved nothing in common. that was with jackie gleason and sela ward (when she was a total young bab) and before tom hanks became TOM HANKS. he was really good in that. that movie was not a very big hit if i remember.

tom had some modest hits in the 80 such as splash, nothing in common, and punchline. he hit it big with big then followed up with a string of flops, like joe vs.the volcano. he had a real resurgence starting with a league of their own and phildephia and then one mega hit after another.
