We don't do much here other than wait for orders....PT in the morning is great....It's at least 2-3 miles a day.....once a week will run 6-10 miles. :worried: It last for about 90 minutes
Anyways, so I'm sitting in my room during duty hours (about 14:00) saying to myself, " Self, wouldn't it be great if we could go to the gym now instead of off duty hours?" I replied to myself with a big, " Hells yeah Self!!!"

So I got on the phone with my squad leader and asked if I could go to the gym, since I'm sitting around doing nothing...(my job) and he replied with a Fuck yeah dude.

So check it....I get paid to go to the gym! WTF????? This rules!!!

If I were not too old, I may have enlisted after that post. =-)

that's fucking awesome bro, getting paid to get swoled up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Check this out.

At my work, they serve you dinner for free if you work past 6pm. Its a working meals program. Well, I usually leave around 5pm and hit the gym until 6:30pm then swing by the cafeteria and pick up some free dinner. Its great to be able to get some good quality food down immediately after working out. Nice perk.

In the Navy out to sea we worked 12 hours shifts. I would go the gym for cardio in the am and back for weights in the pm. - all during working hours. Loved being a black shoe. -- YN3

I think there is a 35 year old cut off to enlist isn't there?

Yup...We have the DFAC but there's not enough protein for my diet. So I bought a hot plate, pots and pans, 20 cans of tuna, almost tens pounds of beef, 3 pounds of flounder and over 3 pounds of chix tenders.

I may be a soldier now but I'll always be a CHEF!!!!!!!!!

Waivers.....You'd waste your talent and education though. You wouldn't make nearly as much money in service as you would in the civilian world!!

Canada?

You're part of the force that will take over Canada, to ensure that we always have ice?
