I am not a fan of Jazz.
it's almost all crazy IMO.
there was a jazz band at the party I went to tonight. I was sitting there watching them and my daughter and i turned to each other at the same time and said, "this is awful."
i've never liked it. I think it gives me anxiety attacks. It's like acoustically offensive to my ears.

So I volunteered that one of my alltime favs was this song by Louis Armstrong:
She's dancing with her father to it! I still get all choked up thinking about it. Wish we could attend, but circumstances won't allow.
I hear what you are saying about the jazz where there is all this cocacophony and nuttiness but not all jazz is like that. I hate that stuff too, but that is not all jazz. Matter of fact when I go I want one of those old fashioned southern jazz style parties - that are celebrations of the deceased's life not a mourning of their death.
