Here in DC we have lots of grates on the sidewalks. I guess they're mostly due to teh Metro. Anyways they're perfectly fine to walk on. But so many women wear heels that are really skinny, that they walk around them cos they are afraid to get their heel stuck in one of the holes in the grid. So you'll be walking along and some woman will like veer into your path and you'll be like, WTF?

Learn to wear sensible shoes, bitches!

Well in Jenscats defense... earlier this year, this guy was about to get into a cab, when he fell into this hole - (not a manhole) it was this hole that they had covered w/ a metal piece. Apparently someone moved it so it wasn't even & bam he fell in!!! His fall wasn't far down - maybe 2 feet but you should've seen the look on his face!!!
