leave all the dirty dishes for the cleaning lady to do when she comes to clean the house on Saturdays?

I don't think that it's one of her duties but the first day she came here, there jsut happened to be a ton of dishes in the sink and she washed them, so since then I've been lazy and left them there for her.

Does it make a difference if its mostly tupperware? I put most of the real dishware in the dishwasher but the sink gets full of tupperware from the weeks packed meals.

I feel kind of guilty about it, but the lazyness outweights the guilt.

If it isn't what she normally does then no. She was probably just being nice the first time. Give her some extra money if she complains.

Don't worry..she will let you know if dishes is not one of her things. Especially if you leave a overflowing sink full. Play dumb and give her a nice tip...and she probably won't complain too much. :)

Hell..I come home to dirty dishes all the time. I don't even get paid to clean 'em! I had better review my contract. HA!

If you are paying her to clean your home, DIRTY dishes are part of the job-IMO.

On a side note, I had a cleaning lady a few year's back. I did not want her to think I was a slob so I'd do a light cleaning before she came over. Hubby use to roll his eyes at me all the time!

if by "leave all the dirty dishes" you mean, "ask the maid for a blowjob", then yes, it's fine.

OR

if by "does it make a difference if its mostly tupperware" you mean, "can I pay her in coke", then yes, that's fine too.

Whenever you feel that cleaning lady/ maid is slacking off or won't do a particular task just subtly bring up "Green Card".

All the motiviation she'll ever need :D

LOL how can you stand to have dirty dishes in the sink? I couldnt look at dishes in my sink for more than a few hours.
I'm just too busy, and when i'm not busy I'm lazy:D

We (me and my room mate) hired her because we are both working full time and were both attending school last semester including saturday classes, so we had not time to clean. The house was super filthy the first day she went. I figure if she saw that and was willing to come back, then a few dirty dishes in the sink aren't gonna scare her away. I think I will throw in a tip now and then though, specially since the cleaning is just simple weekly maintenance now so we are going to start giving her little assignments like cleaning out the fridge and stuff.
