I get a kick out of reading the messages you guys post.

My question is: Are there any parents out there or am I the only one?

Hey, with 5 kids I homeschool, don't get much time to socialize. Yea, hubby and I work out. He built me a gym with a sauna and hottub....I've pretty much lurked since oct. learning. Hubby posted a few times. Was having a drink and decided to relax

We have our own business so our schedule is flexible. Have 2 boys and 3 girls. Dad likes to take them hunting and fishing whenever he can. Figure we only have the kids home with us 1/3 of their life. Want to have as much fun and time with them now. Once they are on their own, they get busy with their life. We have great times with them. Hubby is Dadof5. He hasn't posted much either. We've just been listening and learning.

Congrats. Life changes when they place that baby in your arms. It becomes real for the men at that time. My favorite picture is of my first baby son being cradled in my hubbys huge arm...He and the baby asleep, I'm taking pictures. Funny how he always sleeps after delivery as if he did anything.

Way.

I was chewing on one of those plastic straws that you stir your drink with...it got stuck to my gum, and my eyebrow had an itch. Without thinking, I pulled the chewed up gummy straw out and satisfied it....so now I got a string of gum from my mouth to my eyebrow. I thought it was pretty funny, but the peeps around me thought I had too many vodkas.

The sad thing was that I was almost in the front of the plane, so everyone got a good look at the drunk with gum all over his face on the way to the bathroom.

Nah, I had to use the seat backs for balance if I remember it right. Funny you should ask how I got it off...I was laughing/buzzed and got it off my face with soap, but there was still a trace of it in my eyebrow when I made it to the hotel.

Good times.

hello momof5...i am a mother of 3 small ones....7yr son,2 1/2 yr daughter and 10 mon son.....yes most of us are parents........

luckily by the grace of god i stayed thin........lol. i was going to the gym when their dad was home from work....now i do what ever.
dang you need rest and some alone time never mind gym,lol

Yea, that's why I'm up now and they are in bed! lol

I had lost all my baby weight after the 4th and was doing great. So great, I got pregnant again! Working now to lose all that baby weight again. I guess I'll sleep when they all leave home.

I do. I have a great gym downstairs. Hubby even built me a sauna. I love it! I just need to get down there more! Just trying to find the energy...
