Working for a major and incredibly well funded online university(not U of phoenix) doing sales. they don't like to call it that, but it's kinda what it is. however, my entire paycheck is base salary and there's some bonuses. pretty good gig while i'm back in school

they evaluate my numbers after the first 90 days and will boost up my pay significantly if i do well. shouldn't be hard and already a good salary to start

is u of phoenix not considered a good place to work or something?
i know a few people that work there, doing the same thing as you are gonna be doing
they claim to love it
but the college has terrible reviews on jobvent.com

We'll see what happens, i might only work this job for a year. I got an offer to work next summer for my brother in law's mortgage bank in New York (like his own actual lending institution) so i may go back to that industry and just take this year off from it. we'll see

I know account managers for big banks, CW, First Horizon, Homecomings, etc. that were making $30-50K/mo for the last 8 years. Now they're struggling to make $5K/mo. It's 10x the work for 1/10 of the money now. Add the stress and it's a miserable existence. I'm lucky I'm getting busier now, but it's taking its toll on me.
