some people really lack perspective.

Take a step back and look at the big picture.

The very fact that there is a "scene" indicates a type of exclusive accessibility.

No shit. That's what I said. R-E-A-D the shit you quote next time.

I use Creatine but it is definitely not harmless...Cornell university (i think) did the study. Creatine in athletes caused increase in liver enzymes as well as elevated blood pressure....if you combine this with a stimulant like Ephadrine the effect is elevated.

Post the study. And by the way...so what. All substances have some side-effects. If the ones you posted are indeed fact(based on one study, which was probably biased, I wouldn't qualify it as fact), it still to me sounds harmless compared to booze & especially cigs.

Why would a study be biased you ask? Alot of these University are receiving Government Grants, in which with, they are lining their pockets. You think some fatass Cornell Sceince Geek aint going to come up with the results the Govt. wants to see, in exchange for that Grant money flowing in? Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight...a "study" you say.

I must say you have a point .But there are many country that steroids are legal
and it doesn't make it a big deal. For example Mexicans they should be very muscular
due to the fact that steroids are legal there ,but they are not.

Mexicans, on average, do not have the disposable income to piss away on lesiure items such as gear. As well, I doubt the culture of good health and weightlifting is as popular in Mexico as it is here...atomic, many people do not like to break the law. When you make something illegal, these people tend to stay away. Make something legal, then these people have less apprehension and better access...their is a lot of scammers, due to the illegal factor...take illegal factor away, scammers dry up due to better accessibillity by legal means...trust me bro.[/QUOTE]

Gambino...I'm not sure where to start...have you heard of stuff like rape, murder and assault??? These things have been illegal for a LONG LONG time and the rate is not going down. Don't spout off BS without at least attempting to back it up with proof. Just because gear is illegal doesn't make it a deterrant. Drinking under 21 is illegal and how many 20 years olds say "Sorry guys I don't want that beer because i'm not 21." Do you own a car? Ever go over the spped limit? Ever even think twice that maybe just maybe you shouldn't do 33 in a 30 because it is breaking the law? This is for a fantasy book...not a dicussion board.

I definitely think it is less harmful then Cigarettes (proven harmful) and Alcohol (proven harmful)....just saying that you can't categorize it as harmless.

Pretty weak example, bro...under your thinking, their would be no point to having any laws, since they have no effect...if their were no legal consequences for rape, rates would skyrocket, same with murder. The illegalness of roids is a deterrant, I for one have had close calls and am not willing to risk it any longer. If you fail to see this, then you are a tad ignorant...I have zero points on my liscence...why? Cause I don't like paying tickets, thus I am dettered from speeding...halfclue, I don't think you have much of a clue, at least regarding laws and the effect they have on a populace...

There's one reason to explain that, only one and dont look any further:

The tobacco lobby is bigger and stronger. If the supps industry would organize itself then it could be another story but we wont see that soon....

Wow..that was a witty use of my name! No one is saying we shouldn't have laws..what I am saying is if I don't give a rats ass about the ban on ephadrine I'm going to buy it (legal or not)..if I don't care about assault charges for beating the hell out of a little punk then I am going to do it (legal or not). The people that break laws are the ones who feel the risk out weighs the punishment even if you live in a state with captial punishment. Why si the mruder rate NOT higher in states without captial punishment. People in those states know that if convicted they will still live yet they still murder people daily in the state of texas. I do not have a point on my license either because I have a lawyer and rather take the chance of speeding doing 75 in a 65 because 99 out of 100 times I'll get away with it.

OK lets talk facts about the populace since no one else is defending your point of view we all must be ignorant. If you know anything about the law you know where to find this stuff. I dealt with it in college and you talk like you have expierence as well so put up or shut up. How many people live in the united states of America? How many Felonies were committed last year? How many speeding tickets or other "Moving Violations" were issued last year?

Fetch me those answers and then try and defend your point again. In my world...also known as reality...when the number of moving violations is greater then the population (speciallys since 28% of the population can't drive) then that means that laws on speeding and moving violations are not a deterant. When a Felony is committed by 1/4 people in the US each year(which statically says everyone does it at least once every 4 years) then our laws or our punishments are not a deterant. I don't committ felonies (outside of gear) because I am against them..not because of a law. I smoked pot in high school when it was illegal...it still is illegal but now it just isn't the same for me so i don't do it. I didn't quit because of law...its called personal choice. I am very happy to know that you are a nice law a bidding citizen but 99% of this board are not. So once again...get some facts before you come back with some lame crack at my logon name. And by the way since I told you to get proof before and you came back with your opinion...proof is factual information.
