Yes Bush has done a lot of wrong, but just because everyone has doesn't justify keeping him in office. He has had his 4 years, and he has done an awful job in my opinion. He represents our country. He is our leader. And the dude can't even carry on an intelligent discussion without having a prepared, vague speech full of patriotic cliches to stumble through.
"using science and technology to make jobs that pay more than the jobs that pay 9000$ less than the jobs that are going overseas".

One major thing I don't like, it seems like he more than allows companies to outsource to other countries. They ought to make laws where companies have to keep a certain percentage of their workforce here or something. Something needs to be done. I don't know much on the subject but damn, a lot of jobs that our economy needs are being lost here

we ran much larger deficits as a precentage of GDP during the mid-80s during the Reagan military build-up. Eventually we "absorbed" these deficits and the size of the deifict stabilized again. In the past we have run rather large deficits, and then we get back to base-line. At the moment we are fightin' a war(whether u feel this war is worthwhile is another topic) and are recovering from the economic shocks of 9/11. Bush and Co. felt it would help to get the economy rollin' again by giving a tax cut, which in effect puts more money back in the hands of the people, which in turn is better spent by those people and this spurs the economy. People buy shit better than the govt does. In the short term though we will run a deficit larger than typical, but the economy will benefit. which it has as one can see by the recent turnaround

Well that's somewhat my point. The war in Iraq was completely ridiculous, and only added to the deficit rather than doing something to fix it or spur the economy. Adding a tax cut to the task of funding a full scale, and for the most part unilateral, war violates some basic economic concepts that I'd rather not get into.

Dadd, before I started my "political crusade" I did bother to make somewhere in the neighborhood of half a dozen posts mostly from a "smart guy" employed in a "smart place",who didn't give a rats ass what Bush and Kerry's positions were. They were kinda long,so I imagine they mostly went unread.
Nevertheless I listened to the guy speak on CSPAN(how many surf past that?),for an hour and I became convinced.
In a nutshell I will summarize
we had to lance the boil of Saddam's Irag's,eventually
sooner,better than latter
because of him we had a military presence in SA
this pissed off the extremists
I gotta go,my girl is demanding my attention

It all depends on what you decide to believe I guess. I usually don't debate or argue on politics or religion, because it is pretty worthless in most cases. I just decided to drop a few points on Bushy. Most of which I meant to focus on him as a person, beliefs and policies aside.

It's hard to ignore the way he carries himself and represents our country. It is without a doubt embarassing.
