Yet another my pants don't fit thread

Backlash

New member
I haven't had to wear any pants all summer, but I have a big client meeting today. Unfortunately, I discovered (after trying on pants for like 15 minutes) that none of them fit anymore, except for one pair of baggy cargo khakis. I attribute 90% of this to squats. Guess I'm going shopping this weekend... :)

Man I hate that too. I just bought 2 brand new pairs of jeans a couple weeks ago. Went from 32's to 34's. And damn it all if I didn't get a hole in one this past week. Pisses me off!

I think I get what you mean. My shorts are all waist size 32. but most of my pants are 34 because I bulk during the fall/winter.

I think I even have a pair of 36's from a mega sloppy bulk.:p
...ah....the power of food.

Well, I haven't gained too much fat around my middle, really. I'm just bigger in general all around, and my butt is a lot bigger.

And, yes, the draft is quite nice.

Yaaay for the bubble butts! ;)

I had quite the experience trying to find some shorts that fit me properly. I had to settle for a cheap pair of Old Navy khaki's that are still too big around the waist, but fit my ass and legs just right! They just don't make clothes for people who have some muscle...expecially when it comes to the ladies section! Sheesh!

my waist is 36 and my ass aint huge!!

ok well its kinda big from squating but not that big ..lol

Best part about jeans not fitting is not the width part but the leg girth part ;p

too bad they are soooooooooo expensive...especially when you are lifting and grow in and out of clothes so fast! I do like their style though...

I where 34" jeans right now and I'm bulking...
The problem isn't so much with the waste its more with the hams/glutes.... I can fit a couple hands down my 34's at teh waste, but my glutes and hams just can't move if I wear 32s...

Kind of a catch 22

Normally i have to buy 36 inche dresspants. I have like 3-4 inches of extra room in the waist but the thighs fit just right. If i go any smaller the middle of the thigh looks like spandex then the rest of the pants look all baggy.
I have resorted to buying paints to fit my thighs then having the waist talor down so they fit right. IT SUX SO MUCH!!!

I'm exactly the same, bro. 34s, but they have room to move around the waist.

The clothes made for the younger ladies are a joke for me to even try on. They are made for twiggy girls with no ass and chicken legs...ummm, not gonna work for this chick!

My bf had to laugh at me when he saw how big the waist was and how tight the legs were when I tried on some shorts at the local Tilly's! <Nonerz lets out a deep sigh>

Nonerz - i second that emotion!!!

Any pair of pants/jeans that would fit my waist would not even get over my calf! every pair of jeans i own is like tight in the thigh and glutes and of course humongous in the waist then when you put on the belt its like all bunching up i hate it!! they make JUNIORS sizes for stick figures and they make PLUS sizes for fatter people....why not make something like SWOLE or JACKED or BUFF sizes for those of us with a muscular build??

oh, and to piggyback on the pants that dont fit subject>>> what about shirts??? sweaters??? i cant find anything to fit my shoulders:( im literally sick of the shoulder seam in these sweaters being near my neck LMAO whats wrong with wide square shoulders and why cant they make a sweater to fit me?? and make a sleeve that not the width of a toothpick too im sick of having my arms bulging through

oh smurfy, we must be a lot alike! The sleeves are waaaaaaaaaaay to small and usually tight in the back! I like the SWOLE/JACKED/BUFF idea! They would get my business!

I'm like everyone else, the clothes I had before I started training wont fit me or the baggy stuff is now tight. The clothes I bought towards the end of my bulking are massive around the waist (34) and so I have to wear belts and scrunch them up. My largest regret was buying 3 pairs of none stretching sports pants, squats have killed these and I have sewn them back up many times.

The worst is suits, everyone assumes you're wearing an old suit because it's tight yet you may have bought it only last year.

My max was 220lbs and am at 200lbs at the moment and putting weight back on, I can't imagine what it's like for the big lads who are 250+ or 300+ etc..

well boo hoo to everyone.............lol

try haveing to by pants size 40-42 inch waist.......... 32 inch inseam....... and finding that combination that fits 31 inch thigh's is not an easy task.

X

X- I have the same problem. My waist is 38" My thighs are 33" and my inseam is 32" The only jeans I can wear are tommy hilfiger carpenters and at $70 a pair I can't afford to buy them very often.

Cheers,
Scotsman

Wow glad to have all this company in my misery.

I tore a huge gaping hole in my boxers today. I think it's cos of how my pants grip my legs or something. I was spreading my legs and heard a rrrriiip. At least it wasn't my pants!

I am down to 4 pairs of pants I can wear to work.

And as for everybody else it has to do with the size of my thighs and butt, not my waist.

We should all start our own clothing lines with pants that have three measurements instead of 2.

waist, inseam and thigh.

with styles like "buff blue" jeans....."King Kong" Khakis.......and "Max Effort" dress slacks. :FRlol:

I just did some shopping at Rugged Wearhouse!

2 pairs of plain front Dockers, a pair of Ecko blue jeans and one of Gap blue jeans

I had to get monster waist sizes (34, 35, 36) to get pants that didn't look goofy with a wallet in my pocket but hey they fit and they averaged about $15 a pair! And they are all $50 pants.

THe one I went to is in College Park. Not sure if it's a national chain but they have soem really cool stuff there. You know irregular stuff, overstocks, stuff like that. Great deal.

lol i know the feeling bad......i like to dress very nice and wear trendy stuff and my quads and my waist are the same measurements (28 inch) it is a mother fucker.....no more gucci pants for me :( well for jeans u can buy sean john stuff.....kinda ghetto sounding but they have some gear that isnt urban wear looking but still is a bit more baggy then a polo or something....

the solution is simple.................."Welcome to the Big and Tall how may i help you??"

"yes im not tall, but im very big"

"oh...... right this way sir."
