Ive got all kinds of laundry to do and the basement is full of turds.

That is the most disgusting thing ever! I have had my house flood 4 times and one time for Katrina the sewage backed up, into my carpet and on my walls etc... It took forever to rid the stinch even after removing all the toxic parts. I stayed home cleaning while my kids stayed with their dad and it made me terribly sick.

I do remember that frisk,are things back to normal now? I sure hope so,you dont need that aggravation .

luckily our part of the basement with the drain is cement and not carpeted,and the stink hasnt made its way to any other part of the house.

Not quite back to normal, being a single mom.. work and then work and of course cooking and cleaning. There is barely any time for doing work around the house so its a slow process. The smell is gone and the clean up is done but still have other work to do to get it back in shape.

I have to admit though, that is the worse smell ever... It acutally burned my eyes from the fumes. blech

in the process of moving, as we speak! a temporary move in the farm area where we keep our horses and then building later on. I hope all is well with your issues... be careful, those toxic waste fumes can and will make you sick.

Basically this ladies basement toilet didn't just backup and overflow, but rather exploded way up and all over the ceiling, walls, floor from the entire neighborhood
