XP issues

since getting this new computer ,I get tons of Internet explorer errors for now reason, my mom cant get onto any online games, elite mail only works for recieveing and most things with java wont work(ie karma) and its fucking annoying

how do I fix this

if you haven't done so already, you will probably have to d/l the latest Java Virtual Machine client.

You may also want to make sure it has SP1 and all the latest critical updates.

not sure what sp1 is but after updating the last critical updates it got worse,hopefull the java client will help,thanks alot

ok that made it worse,now I cant get into my elite mail acct because it says authenication error.

any ideas here?

hmm. What kind of internet explorer errors are they? Is it home or pro edition? Kind of computer?

home edition, and internet explorer 6.1 or 6,just got more upgrades today and still nothing.

its a clone pc ,I can give some specs if you want but its pretty good besides the shit its been doing

Are the errors only happening in internet explorer? If so, you can try to reinstall IE if you haven't done that already.
Clone pc?
If all else fails you can do a system restore back to a date before the probs started happening. If they start happening right out of the box, I would call tech support of the computer or RMA that thing back for another one.

a clone is basically a bunch of parts that make a pc,ie non name brand,I havent tried to reinstall internet explorer but it sounds like a plan, pressing control and shift while clicking to give karma etc has temporary solved the problem, stryder posted it on another thread. but I will try to reinstall

Since the computer is still very new, i'll format and reinstall everything. That's tha healthiest way. If that doesn't works, i will put an eye on the memory....

Make sure your "Security" setting are at medium. Usually when set on "high" they can block pop ups and other Java.
