xm radio

anyone have XM radio? the radio is like $240 and there is a $10 a month subscription. but you get 100 channels that are clear anywhere since it is digital.

i have a 1999 car so i think the CD player may be XM compatible. but i don't know if i want/need XM radio.

anyone else have it?

XM radio is a digital radio broadcast frequency (as opposed to FM or AM). it is 100 channels, some pure rap/country/classical/talk/etc. you get a small antenna to put on your car to catch the signal. unlike radio antenna, digital antenna never fades in/out (i assume the quality of XM vs AM/FM is like satellite vs antenna tv).

I know what it is. I don't see how it's going to stay afloat. You have to buy equipment, which costs 300 minimum. It is an interesting idea, but I'm not sure how well it's gonna work. The fact that people aren't flying might help XM a bit.

I have been meaning to ask you, why are you so cool? And did you ever reslove the broken Lay-Z boy chair fiasco?

i am cool because

1. i eat all my vegetables
2. i protect the dignity of maidens fair


nope. i think i fucking broke the chair in my ford ranger too. i know i broke the chair in my old (before hte last one) car. this sucks. this is a serious problem. i need to learn how to weld my own chairs out of 10 guage steel or something.
