X-Men 2 was fucking awesome

We saw the movie tonight and while it has a lot of eye candy the plot was very thin, good for the teenie audience. The movie lacked realism, kina like the old A-team episodes.

Lacked realism? :lmao: its about the X-men.. about mutants. Of course it lacks realism. I hate movies that lack realism where there is supposed to be realism.. (IE. MI:2, i hated that fucking movie). But x-men2 is a great film imo.

OK, you missed the point entirely. How can wolvorine stab someone under the bullet proof vest and there be absolutely NO blood, not a drop. Or how can Pyro fuck up all those cops and eveyone of them be just fine, like i said it played like the old A-team series.

IMO they should have made the movie under an R rating and geared it for a more mature audience, like the Matrix series. Both are fantasy movies but the plot depth and presentation are worlds apart.

I think they realize they can make more money if it's geered for younger age groups as well.

I do agree with you there, and was surprised to see blood during the magnito escape scene.. I would have loved to see some blood on wolverines blades, as well as more blood overall. :D

I just saw it tonight, I liked it.

I wanna pound Mystique hard...Wolvie's just not the stud I thought he was after seeing him toss her off him. She obviously wanted it.

And hey, you fuckers should be happy they made the film as adult as they have, never mind bitching about there not beeing anough blood. It's not like any amount of red liquid flying around will make a scene more/less powerful. Lots of blood is unecessary in getting most points across.

I can see dumbig down the violence so they can get a more family oriented rating, cause that = money, but I mean any family these days that even lets their kids read comics, and who have children who know what the X men are in the first place because of the comics, has most likely had their children watch some pretty bad movies in recent times..Parents just don't seem to give a shit anymore.

PS...how do you parachute safely in a tornado.

Yeah, I just watched it at home because I heard a bunch of people saying it sucked but it was fucking good as hell. What the fuck happens to Jean when she becomes Pheonix. I forgot what happens to her. Anyone have any good info on this shit? What is the Pheonix, ect... The only stuff I remember is what happened in the animated series. Poor Cyclops lol

what are you guys talking about? the wolverine was covered in blood after he killed all those swat guys. and for his blades, i saw blood on them, but when he pulls those bad boys back into his hands the blood wipes off, so when the blades come back out there shouldnt be blood on them. i'm glad they didn't make it all gory and stuff, i for one em sick of seeing that shit everywere. i think it's enough they have mutant demons as heros for kids lol. they did kind of have the terminator 2 thing going about not killing the cops. that's one thing i think they needed to show more of, cops getting killed, theres not enough of that in movies :D

I saw it last night. The first movie was just the warmup for this one. If the third movie is about what I think it is, this second is a warmup too. I don't want to say much more so as not to spoil it for those who will see the movie.

Lots of action and hotties- just like I like. :D

Jean Grey will become the Phoenix. Very obvious.

Nightcrawler was very well-emphasized in this movie. The secret service fight scene, the explanation of his body art, his heroism when saving Rogue, and his exercise of faith really made him shine. Also, the comedic slant they gave his repetitive introductions was superb.

so is omega red or apocalypse in any of the 3? those were some badasses that i remember back from the cartoon days.

Apocalypse (En Sabah Nur) would be the shit. End of story. THE SHIT!

It was entertaining but I found it to be a little slow at times and really a movie that I could have waited for video and not felt like I missed out on anything.
