I was in Kzoo for a couple years at the big pharma company there. I'm in the city to the north right now.
Not from DOW, but a have met a few people from there. Haven't really heard much good about working there, but it's a really different environment out here versus the east coast. Flyover country = FML.

Lake Michigan can be nice. Spend some time in Grand Haven.
I still cannot figure out what people do up there besides vacation and retire. (I've yet to get up there.)
I was up there last month visiting a friend. Nice area. Many more beaches on this side of the lake.

I always get a kick out of D people complaining about Houston's humidity. Like having 90% humidity vs 95% really makes a difference.
