WTF - page length?

am I the only one that is seeing the number of posts per page change a lot today?
I have it set to show only the posts from the last day - and it is sometimes showing only a screenful -and then other times I have to scroll.
I like the scroll b/c then I can just see it all there and not have to go to the second page.

I'm just assuming that this is b/c there is work being done in the background to limit the amount of data the server has to send out each time people see it...

You really do think too much! Have you tried wacking off to "Hey Macirana" and changing it up between heys? This can be quite relaxing. That or cover yourself from head to toe in Jellow Pudding, nekkid of course, and stalk Bill Cosby! That's my hobby in the fall.
