WTF? Mods and vets, I need help with a problem I ran into.

I shot my delt today with 1cc of Primo. Aspirated and what not, and when I pulled out, a lot of blood came pourin out and ran down my arm. I covered it and it stopped after a minute, but I don't know why it happened. I used a 1-1/2 pin, 23g, went in about 3-4 of the way since it's a bigger pin. Aspirated like I said, and then all that blood and I had a little lump afterwods as well. I had beem hitting delts 2-3 times a week as far as shootin. Could that explain anything? It never happened before. I'm not really worried about the whole deal, more that I do beleive I wasted the shot. Any ideas?

Sounds like you just went thru a vein.

never had a gusher before, most of us get them once in a great while, you probably pushed through vessel so even if you aspirate you won't draw blood, but when you pull out the pressure will start the bleeding, no your gear was not wasted.

yep and the lump should go away in a few days... not as big of a deal as you think... scary the first time it happens nonetheless.

100% right, the lump is just a blood pool that will be reasorbed without problem. What you did was pass through a vein on the way in, thats why there was no blood when you asperaited, then when you removed the pin blood ran out from the punctured vein.
