fuckin 105 degrees outside and no A/C in restuarants or taxis.
seriously walked for 1.5 hours the other night lookin for a cool place to eat...

finally settled at the hard rock cafe athens.. an AMERICAN restaurant.

You're in a beautiful country w/ beautiful people and awesome food. And you settled for lunch at a Hard Rock Cafe? Please tell me that stuffed grape leaves and olives were on the menu.

Anyways, yeah, whoever wants an A/C, they get it. I never felt like I was sweating my ass of when I was chilling at home and stuff

Never been but i have lots of friends who are croatian and return every year...why do most croatians no matter how poor in the U.S. own homes back in the old country...i mean they all have beautiful homes right near the beach and what..shit why come here..
 
There is no air conditioning in Germany either... not your typical "3rd world country" Hell, AC is an option in ALL but the most upscale cars. (Im talking , it is an option in BMW 3 clases and Mercedes C class here)

As for Greece? ask GoldenDelicious...

its weird that you ask cause its true. The houses dont cost as much as here. Dont get me wrong, for their economy its expensive, but if you work here and go there to built a house, its a little bit cheaper.
My husbands uncle (he lives in the USA) has a small ass house in the States (like 1100sf), but back home he has a 3 story house!!!
 
europe is the same way..went to italy..i am telling you it was hotter than hell there and no one had a/c's..it was crazy....

Well, I was also a bit surprised when I learned that Turkey is both in Europe and Asia... they actually have a number of bridges in Istambul that unite the two continents.

Istambul is a great city, esp Aya Sofia, the oldest orthodox church that is in the european side (I think so)

that is a beautiful country go to some of the 'tourist' beaches.... gals from england etc vacation there a lot.. you should be able to find some good looking ones there

Only place you'll find A/C in Europe is in some gov't buildings or some MNCs...
other than that, sweat sweat sweat... :worried:

Welcome to the real world bro...we cry here because we pay $2.35 a gallon of gas. In Europe is almost three times higher. We have here AC in every single place you go. They don't.
