WTF is going on with my Heart??

Any advice, or experience with this, please share bros...

Here is what is going on, but first a little background on the situation. My heart will be going along, and then all the sudden, pause for a second, then restart with a hard THUD beat. This has been happening for the past 2 years. I can pinpoint the precise time it started and that was when I took some Turkish Anadrol 2 years ago. I had never before had any such skipping with my heart until I was into the A-Bombs around week 4 or so. I stopped them immediately but I've had this arrythmia or whatever you want to call it ever since. I've seen a doctor about it, and he said millions of people have this and its nothing to worry about.

So with that said, here is why I'm posting. Most of the time, the skipping is infrequent, and doesn't really bother me. I've learned to live with it. However, today in the gym, it got WAY out of hand. Keep in mind I'm in my 6th week of my cycle which you can see in my sig. I'm on the bench and while I'm pressing the weight, my heart is stopping, restarting, stopping, restarting. Those of you that have this will know what I'm talking about when I say when it skips, it takes a little of your breath away. So I'm pressing weight, having my heart flutter over and over again, and I'm thinking WTF is going on here? I stopped and tried to just walk around and I could feel just flip-flopping over and over. I can even put my fingers on my neck to feel my pulse and feel it stop, re-start. Should I just fight through it? Is something wrong here? Why all the sudden is it going off like this? Do any of you know if there is anything in particular that can set off the arrythmia like this?

Do any of you bros experience anything like this at all? Should I just not worry about it? Thanks in advance. Sorry for the long post but it was really freaking me out. I just want to be safe. These visions creep into my mind you know, while I'm there pusing the weight, of the lights going out for good...

I would find a knowledgeable sports med doc. Let him know what's going on and see what he says. Good luck. I hope it's nothing serious.

Yea actually I have that happen too. Not really frequently though. If I put down a whole pizza and drink a shitload of water it happens for hours on end. Like you said I've just learned to live with it.

It did happen to me at the gym about 3 months ago and I got pretty anxious. I just sat on a bench and waited it out.

I had a murmur when I was a kid that faded with time so I'm not sure if it's at all related. I also had an ekg, and ultrasound done on my heart when i was 16 and they told me everything was fine.

I'm really not sure what to tell you bro, other than you're not the only one. I'm 25 and still here. :) Just try not to panic at all when it does happen, and if you do ever find out wtf it is post up and let me know.

youve only got one heart!!!! and its something that you need..i dont think a sports med Dr. is the right person to go see..i would go see your physician first and expalin your problem to him and be honest about your use of AAS..yeah you may get a lecture but after that he will be able to better advise you to see the right specialist..I would do this right now do not wait..

there are some smart people on this board who may or may not have experienced the same thing but its impossible for someone to diagnose you so please get to the Dr

I get somthing like that when i cycle but i lose my breath and my heart stops its very infrequent and i'm told its *panic attacks*. As for whats wrong with you i'm not a doctor so i dunno just dropping my 2 cents in. Sometimes your body can get very strange when you have huge chemical/Hormonal changes in your body.

My dad has this condition and from what he has been told some people are born with 2 sets of nerves that send electrical impulses to make the heart beat. Im not sure if that is what is causing that in your case but i do know that according to my dads doc the pausing and skipping beats gets worse with age and in my dads case (he is 60) his has gotten to the point it causes his heart to flutter which can cause blood clots and currently he is on blood thinners to prevent a heart attack. In situations like this they can do orthoscopic surgery and sever one of the nerves going to the heart that make it beat erratically and my dad is going to have to have this procedure done soon....That being said i think you should talk to your doc about this and if you have the same thing my dad has it does get worse with age but the procedure to correct it is supposed to be quite simple and successful
