WS4BB: Anyone run it?

Have any of you guys ran the westside for bodybuilders that was posted up on here a couple years ago? It's basically a modified upper/lower split with ME days. Here's the original thread: http://www.elitefitness.com/forum/w...fting/westside-bodybuilders-ws4bb-484876.html

I just started it with a modified RE lower day. I'm basically going to do a RE squat day rotating every couple of weeks between 2x20 widowmakers and GVT style 10x10.

Let me know if any of you have used this style before and how it worked for you. Also any critiques on subbing in the 2x20&10x10 squats. I like upper/lower splits and I like lifting for strength so hopefully this works out as a good program for me.

I have always been a firm believer in total full body workouts. But, recently, I have started training similar to the ws4bb template, basically to work on weak points. For me I like running it 4 days a week add more intensity each week and eventually begin to plateau. At that point I would switch to the 3 day a week set up, maintain intensity while deload for several weeks, watch yourself grow, and then switch up your main press and pull variations to your specific needs. Like on your heavy days you could change deads for squats, bench for push presses, incorporate bands or chains, etc... I like the concept and it has treated me well so far. As for your RE days, I think they are pretty flexable as long as you can consistent weight intensity or volume, which ever you choose will work. Although if you can do 2 sets of widow makers, it would probably be better to add 10-15s on the bar and do 1 ture widow maker and call it a day.
