Where do you all buy yours at?

im in need of some and cant find any. any good places online or local stores to buy them

at?

thanks!

actaully i take that back, if you want STRAPS get them from ironmind.com, you will never need to buy another pair. if you want WRAPS or really long thick cotton wrist STRAPS (used on axels and stuff) go to APT.

if you get the cotton ones be sure to soak them in h20 overnight and air dry every so often--makes them last longer

I have small girly wrists so they work good for me, lol. They only make one size of that material???

do you guys always use straps?
I forgot mine at the gym and never replaced them because I thought my grip was too weak. I've gone up a little in weight and again, my grip gives out before I do.
I'm thinking best idea is to buy a new pair and only use them on last two sets.

I got mine a walmart about 6 or 7 years ago and they've lasted really well...I dont really use them anymore and I've only had one back day where my grip gave out!!!!

I only use them on certain things like rows, shrugs, etc. because i am not focusing on grip with these exercises. I train my grip on other things like deadlifts and whatnot.

I like them REALLY long so that you can get a proper 1 wrap around and then through your fingers so they LOCK into place. That make sense? You seen that before?

Yep those were the ones i was referring to for axel deads.

Grip has never been an issue for me though either. I've pulled 700 on my 2" axle before with no problems grip wise.

I use scheik straps. I have tried lots and found them to be the most durable and long enough straps and made for the thick wristed person.
you can get them on their web site or bodybuilding.com

I've heard tell that old seatbelts work well for straps. Never tried it myself...

...would look kind of badass though :-p

All you need is chalk and a well knurled bar. If I'm pulling big iron, I have big enough hands that I can wrap my hand around the bar so that my thumb and middle finger overlap sort of like a strap.

I've never had to strap into a machine.
