So, okay, I went to my doc Friday cuz during my last hike I was infected by some strange plant-life which had caused the flesh from the backs of my ankles to just above the backs of my knees to become inflamed with little red dots and squiggly lines. So as the nurse is going through her string of qustions, she comes upon this query:

"Are you menstruating?"

"no".

"when was the date of your last menstrual period?"

"Uh, about two years ago". (I'm on Depo)

"Oh...are you pregnant?"

Wow.
Time to find a new health care facility.

I was extremely bloated in my legs; she was trying to attribute the swelling to something.

Besides, as any woman who's been to the doctor knows, even if you went in with bronchitis, they ALWAYS ask about your damned period. Beats the hell out of me.

Ha. Sounds like my old GP's office. He had an intern who was a perv.

I went in because I was having asthma issues and he asked about my period and if I was pregnant.

I wanted to say "What does my pussy have to do with my liungs?".

I'm so glad I don't go there anymore.

no no no...

Depo is for birth control; it makes your period disappear.

I went in for the skin rash, and as I stated above, no matter what you go to the doc for, they always ask about your period.

The rash was caused by a poisonous plant life indigenous to the pacific northwest.

Did you end up getting treated for your rash??
