wow, traffic in india.......

this was a comment

I ride/drive in India and I can assure you all that at every junction in this country we all play Russian roulette. 'Cause the vast majority think roads are meant only for them to drive on and all others on it be damned. The death rate on Indian roads is phenomenal. If wars cause indiscriminate death in other parts of the world, out here in India we have so called traffic 'accidents' doin' tha same.

i would def not be on a flimsy motorbike

that's about the only situation that would prompt me to consider getting a hummer..........the old school one that pretty much are only missing the 50 cal turret on the roof.

just so you guys..

there are no "Real traffic lights" only in major cities and that only pertains to the downtown core..

so crossing the street is essentially like frogger. and pedastrians have no right away.

i think tomorrow and monday..

I don't go out to eat indian, because i grew up on it so its like going out to oatmeal and egg whites...

okay if you want a sick biryani place...

Okay

Lahore Tikka House 1365 Gerrard Street East in little india-these guys have the kebob and the fresh naan made in the pit and some kick ass biryannni so its like place where you get the bbq fix and rice and curry fix...

Lahore Biryani House 1386 Gerrard Street- is really good to..

Biryani House
25 Wellesley Street East

this place is easy to find.. go to younge then transfer south to wesley.. its right outside weslely station.. so its easyto find. ITs a classy plass too..

how do they make their curries? I cook curry myself so I like the curry's where I can tell they use more tomato paste and yogurt or coconut milk. But I also like hot........which is why I usually go with lamb vindaloo. At banjarba the chef came out and asked me if I was "sure" I wanted it hot..........yeah it was hot when it came out, holy shit.......but I took it, they were not unimpressed with the bald american....

I am no amatuer J.......of course I use turmeric. Does your sister cook indian?

No, she cooks simple stuff, like chicken and lots of salads. Maybe you'll have to teach her ;-)

redsamurai said:
what can't you stand? what does she usually cook?

okay i looked in the fridge..

no one came over so it was just food cooked for mom dad and brother...

it was chicken curry , some kind of spinach tarkari and daal,

when people come over biryani and tandoori chicken is staple..the other dishes are up in the air..

i cant stand any real indian food anymore, i grew up on it so iv had my share.
