WOW...."Flight 93"

Im sure im one of the last people to see this film. Im not a big movie buff, nor am I a very emotional person, especially when it comes to movies...

All I can say is that this film really hit home.. I am still sitting here absolutely speechless. I was really affected by 9/11 and I really never thought I would or could sit through a movie based on such a tragic event.. It was something that I really needed to see.

I really cant find the words to describe how I feel right now; Hurt, Saddened, Proud, Insignificant, Selfish....
I always read about it in books in school.. About war heros and famous people, but I never truly thought that a group of normal people, giving up everything they love to save people they dont even know.. It really makes me comfortable knowing that, no matter how much our country hates this president or how much better another president would be, that through all that we have an undying love and protection for our country....
God Bless...

Although the story of Flight 93 is a romantic one, I'm still not sure I believe that "Let's Roll" is what caused the demise of that ill-fated aircraft. I'll just leave it at that. The movie is quite a compelling drama though.

I still think some sort of antiaircraft or jet shot the plane down. I just don't see a terrorist that supposedly had all this air training not be able to fly the plane. These guys were experienced and well trained in their mission only to have one of them forget how to fly the plane and crash?

What do you think caused it? I would truly love to think that those passengers realized that something needed to be done and took action... I dont know how I would have reacted if that was me. Thinking of my parents, friends, loved ones future... How are you suppose to react? Do you sit there, pray and wish for the best... or do you stand up and try to make a difference? Definately a situation I would never ever chose for even my worst enemy.

There's a lot of circumstantial evidence that points towards the aircraft having a midair explosion, not a ground impact. Charred debris recovered on the other side of a mountain in a lake, for example.

Air Traffic Controllers stated initially that there was an F-16 in the immediate vicinity of Flight 93's crash site at time of impact.

Like I said guys, I was personally affected by 9/11.. Not Flight 93 but the WTC. I feel remorse now that I have ran away from this for so long. Does anyone have a good source where to find more information?

Honestly, I don't understand how and why the rest of the passengers on the other planes didn't jump the guys when all they had were fucking box cutters. I mean, how much damage could a couple guys do with box cutters against 20 or 30 people? Nothing surrounding the hijacking makes sense.

The reasoning behind that is for 30 years flight and cabin crews had been trained to keep passengers calm and "ride the hijacking out". Most all hijackings in the past had ended relatively peacefully. I expect most passengers and crew thought they'd wind up on the tarmac in Havana.

i agree, i cant imagine anyone in those planes could have imagined that people were crazy enough to crash those planes into buildings, if they had known that im sure they would have put up a fight

And that is the same reason why a similar stunt won't work in the future.

They never trained on a real boeing. Just small airplanes. Their big aircraft knowledge came from theory, not from practice.

Besides, I'm not 100% sure if they did it in all the airplanes but at least in flght 93 as soon as they take the airplane, they threat with a bomb. That makes you think twice about what ya gonna do next.

i have not seen it although i would like to...i read a book that they published about the guy that said lets roll or what ever...it was good and i want to see the movie

Based on the feedback they were getting from people on the ground, I'd do the same. Hell if I know they are going to crash the airplane on an American symbol killing thousands on the ground, I'd do my best to takeover the plane and if I can't, I'd die trying to do my best.

it boggles my mind to think they overtook a commercial airliner with razor blades. we as americans are very stupid. luckily for flight 93 they HAD BALLZ and rushed those weisels.

R.I.P flight 93 !!!!!!!!!!george bush owe's all your families unlimited pardons, for loans, mortages, taxes ect.

The terrorists also claimed that an empty shoebox was a bomb.
