Well ER, there was no indication at first they are nuts. The man I was with for 11 yrs was an awesome man. I knew him since I was 14.
Sometimes, life just hands you shit.
The last one, well there was some signs, but you always hope for the best. That one was my mistake.

I'm trying to see things much quicker.

With the first one, no. My parents and family loved him like a son and brother.
The second and last one, yes! Tons of flags. My niece only told me after I left my ex that she always thought he was creepy and that's why she was quiet around him. I saw it, but thought maybe I was over reacting.

I also believe people act a certain way to get what they want out of life then once they get it show their true colours.

take my wife for example,she showed me a lifestyle any man would kill for,awesome trips she offered to pay for and wouldnt let me pay,sex 3 or 4 times a day. all this was to get me to marry her because her number one goal was to have a kid.

Thank you, and in fact the one room most important (lots of irreplaceable stuff in there), was saved! The rest of the house was a total loss, but I'm grateful that the FD saved that room! The first unit asked me "is anyone in there", and after I thought carefully; not to let any panic make me forget, I said "No, I see everyone out here now", and asked if they could please do their best to save that one room in back. There were already flames showing from all windows in the rest of the house, and the attic vents, so it was pointless to try to do anything for the main part of the house. I will say that they told me if I hadn't shut that one particular door, then NO WAY would they have been able to save that room, so in a way I'm not sorry, although honestly I don't like having scar tissue in my lungs to scare every doctor who looks at my chest X-rays.
