Nope.. Why would you even want to take a chance like that for?
dude............you prolly already have....u just don't know it yet. :worried:

"Ignorance is bliss" but I wouldn't want to be that ignorant. If I knew and that is a big "IF", I wouldn't do it even with a condom.

I do wish all of you who said 'absolutely not' the best of luck in dealing with this response coming back at you if/when you do catch it.

Personally, I had no problem with having sex with someone I was attracted to, regardless of HIV status, and always played safely and stayed negative. I became positive after I was in a long-term, safe, monogamous relationship with someone who was *supposedly* negative. I found out later (at the funeral) that I was lied to and that my efforts at safety were sabotaged.

Its been hard realizing how many people are willing to blame the victims for getting sick and who are willing to come up with any reason they can for how they are different than 'those people who have it.'

I've also seen that these same people, if they do end up catching it, have been much more likely to lie to their partners - so that they don't have to put up with the discrimination aimed at them that they had aimed at others. Even if they had said felt that people who lied deserved to die.

u get infected by taking it in the ass, soooo and vaginal intercourse is very low risk transmission rate, hmmm. You are more likely to be struck by lightening than to get hiv from unprotected vaginal intercourse man or women.
Id like to know where you got that statistic from...

If someone really doesn't want to take the chance, then not only do you have to ask if the person you have sex with has been tested, but when were they last tested; it means nothing if they were tested last year or whenever and have slept with others since then. As for straight people not having HIV or having slimmer chances of getting it, women in the U.S. have the highest newly infected rates, not gay men (that was twenty years ago).
Too bad this poll wasn't worded, "Would you have sex with someone who's honest and knows their status...." but I do completely understand/ respect the point.

perhaps, i have been with several prostitutes and they gaVe me numba 1 discount.....and they say ME SO HORNY....ME LOVE YOU LONG TIME...THEN I PAY HER AND SHE PUT HER TEETH BACK IN.

Not a chance my friend..I get tested every year, and been with the same girl for 4..
Why would you need to get tested every year if you have been with the same for 4? unless you know shes cheating..

Or, he's cheating on her and so he gets tested every year . .

Why the fuck would you have sex with someone with hiv in the first place, or even get in a relationship with someone who has hiv or aids. I could see if they contract it in the relation from cheating, where in that case i would end her life. THE ONLY people who should be considering having sex with an hiv positive partner are those who have contracted it due to an accident. WTF are u doing dating people with hiv anyways.

This is not flaming but what the fuck is wrong with you to even ingage in any type of sexual activity when you have aids..... do you think its your right to have sex or something. I dont care if it was a .000000000000000001 chance, there is no reason to have sex with someone knowing they have hiv. People who have hiv should not be OUT having sex with partners when they are infected, and the stigma is there to protect individuals from getting infected from others, i cant believe some of you people justify it. I honestly hope that the people who are positve arent out having sex with people guy or girl and not telling them, if thats the case u should burn in hell.

Uhm maybe that pole vaulter Allison Stokkes.

But only if was unprotected anal so I wouldn't be exposed for more than 18-24 seconds.

I should be done well b4 the elusive 30 second mark....

Maybe because they're a wonderful person and you're in love with them? And because you've done the research and learned that HIV is actually very difficult to get? My boyfriend is HIV negative, I am positive, and we've had great sex for over 5 years. All we do is use a condom correctly - this ain't rocket science, folks.

I never cease to be amazed at how cruel people can be. Must be my silly belief that people are basically good, but reading this thread makes it very difficult to continue in that belief.

It's all in your head. If I KNEW for sure someone had HIV or any STD I wouldn't risk it. Yet at the same time, I run that risk anyway. In the heat of the moment the risk seems less due to ignorance.

Thats bizarre logic. So, its not possible to pass HIV if you were infected accidentally? Or, you're making a moral judgment....that because you got it from sex there is something wrong with you? I'm not getting your point here

Here's an interesting video relating to the whole HIV/AIDS epidemic...

http://video.google.com/videoplay?d...222&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=4

It might shed a bit of light of some old virus's..

Are you kidding me? Ignorance like this kills people. This is absolutely ludicrous. Look at the decline in AIDS deaths as more and more effective drugs have been developed, all of which work by stopping the replication of HIV. I can't believe that people still buy this total bullshit

There was an article recently talking about people who prefer to get their health info by watching garbage on YouTube that reinforces their prejudices against vaccination.

While it would be nice to think that they're standing on Darwin's doormat screaming "TAKE ME! I'M TOO STUPID TO LIVE!" there is the problem that when you get an entire herd of idiots leaving themselves vulnerable to things like hepatitis, tuberculosis, various flavors of measles and the flu, the general breakdown of public health that results will eventually take down the rest of us.
