would some of you 56k modem users help me out

We have been working on compressing videos down for a better experience for modem users. Unfortunately, I don't have a modem so I can't test it properly.

Could some of you take a look over at:

Would you compare the quality and download times of each? They are just a few samples from the training journal.

im a cable user, but quality wise, the low quality is much poorer (that is to be expected though) and it seemed to lag a bit while playing. It looks like it was taken with a digital camera.

i've got dial up ISDN 64k


when downloading with max bandwith (7,4kb / sec) it takes me approx 2 minutes for 1 megabyte, when the files are quite large it takes even longer (100mb take approx 3hours 30mins)

i always download the vids because when i try to watch them directly with windows media player or the like it lags severely almost everytime

personally i prefer the medium ones because the quality is much better, it just takes some time

i have DSL and the medium ones aren't that bad at all. the purpose is to teach people how to do stuff and with that quality it will be just fine. even on the low, you can see the movements clearly enough to see what is going on. But for me all of them stream fine, even the highest quality ones stream and i can surf at the same time.

i, too, think the medium ones are the best. I will wait for a few more responses and probably re-create the journal tonight with 2 versions, high and medium!
