Would AAS speed recovery from orthopedic surgery?

I have heard that it will help you heal/recover faster in general.

If you were scheduled to haev surgery, would you do a short cycle for right afterwards?

Yes after my next surgery Im going to run Var 10-20mg ED for 8 weeks. GH would also help, but its out of my $$ range.

depends on the surgury... maybe 200 - 300 mg's deca a week, but to really help tendons, ligaments you need HGH for 6-8 months at 2iu's minimum(id go higher personally) also, a couple months after my procedures, i ran a 21 day 1ML cycle of alflutop, waited 4 weeks and ran another 21 days... seemed to work very well with the combo of deca and especially hgh... G/L on the recovery bro.

man after surgery your joints are week takin roids may help with reocovery but issue is when lifting weight you will feel super strong and may injure yourself thru liffting too much and no realisin so approach this idea with caution bro

Some steroids, like Var and Deca grow tendons faster than they grow muscle. There are 2 reasons it would be good idea, one to heal the tendons faster, two to prevent wasting of the muscle tissue during the period when it is imobilized.

I have to agree with big49ersfan. I have had a total of 6 ortho surgeries and you really have to be careful. Never taken AAS but I do know that you will be tempted to overdo it quickly if you are feeling strong and recovered. what you feel may be different than what the truth is. i started lifting pretty fast after one of my surgeries and ended up having to have the same thing done again because i screwed it up...be careful.

Well, maybe if you had run an AAS that promotes tendon/joint health you wouldent have gotten re-injured, ever thought of that?

I would wait a couple weeks as AAS increases Pro Time...AKA clotting time and that could be bad. I used it after all my tendon repairs along with low dose (1iu) HGH a day and am sure it helped. I used Test and deca..like 200mg each every 10 days.

just trying to help...no need for attitude. Sorry, I'll leave and keep my mouth shut man.

No attitude here bro, just saying, perhaps your injury wouldent have came back if you had some assitence healing it.
