shit you think the strongest man in the world would be worth more than $7,500.00, just goes to show where bodybuilding and lifting weights stands in sports, the best football, basketball, and baseball player combined probably makes around 500 million after contract and endorsements.

The winner of the WSM got either 30k or 40k last year. In his country...40k US dollars makes him VERY wealthy...

This is just a US only contest. 2 years ago there was ZERO money involved. Now, to have a pro contest you must have 25k in sponsors alone!!!

I saw a bit of one of the contests this weekend and couldn't help but wonder what kind of drug testing they do at these event. Do they even test?

There is no testing. Most of the competitors come from countries where AAS are completely legal. I saw some pretty messed up things when I competed in Boston...watching the pro's in the warm up areas. In strongman, pain meds (etc...) are abused much more than AAS are...by a long shot.
