Workout advice needed

Time to change up my routine. Looking for advice, I have been doing a four day split working each muscle group twice per week. I have considered doing one muscle group each day and blasting that muscle. What to do?
 
Take a look at the stickies. Many here have had excellent results in both strength and size from the 5x5 variants.
 
I suggest getting completely away from the whole muscle group split routine mentality...It tends to lead to a lot of isolation-type exercises which are close to worthless for most of us who aren't at a very advanced level of bodybuilding.

If you're still managing to focus primarily on compound, multi-joint exercises than that's good, but you need to allow for recovery time...and working out 4+ times a week won't do that.

So, if you want to switch up, I suggest considering switching entirely from muscle group routines to full-body (2 - 4x a week) or an upper/lower body split, thereby allowing you to focus primarily on the compounds...
 
I split mine into a 2 day split done twice a week- 4 workouts per week in other words. Day 1 is push day with squatting, bench, and OHP as the core. Day 2 is pull day with deadlift, pullup, and row as the core.
