working tris and bis good once every 3-4 weeks??

I've been doing bis and tris together every 3-4 weeks. Good i think so i think it gives off a full pump of the arm. Not just a bicep pump or a tricep pump but overall arm pump. Which has got to be good for growth every now and then. Tell me your thoughts.

Maybe but I persoanlly think an all arm session is needed, especially for hardgainers. I used to do that for 8 weeks and got some nice gains. Arms are funny by design of the muscle fiber arrangement, max loading is hard but lighter load for high reps seem to stimulate them well, when I mean high (8-12 reps) controlled

yeah i was doing arms together for a while and got good results but was cutting and then started bulking and went to compound. I think they are both good I think every few months you just got to change it up to keep gains coming so your body doesn't build up a tolerance you know?? now what wrong with 5x5 method with arms?? i think its better for bulking. I've noticed with that method i def get more bulk and not ripped and veiny but right when i start doin that 8-12 reps my vains start bulging out. It must have to do with volume you know?? like lee preist he trains really high reps like 12-15 for volume.

I don't think there is anything wrong with 5x5 for arms but my own past has made doing that low reps with my body not productive, Too much boxing and baseball built up a lot of scar tissue, going heavy does not stimulate the muscle like higher reps do for myself. My old arm routine that work good was based on 5x5 with chains to get more resisatnce at the top of the move, then 2x8 and 2x12 sets I would really focus on controlled movements, it was almost as the 5x5 sets were warm up.

best I ever did was 5x5 with 285 on close-grip and 135 on barbell curl

bro let me get this right i've yet to do close grip so. You bench but with your hands real close together right?? just like a regular bench press?? first time i tried it my fucking tris hurt so bad. Should i throw them in ?? i would appreciate explanations on how to do it and everything thanks bro

Basically you hand are in closer, I take about 6-8" grip betwen hands, with that the bar comes a little lower than a normal bench press (right below my nipples and I press up and away. Basically the bar travles straight up not back over my head which would recruit my delts more than tris. I did this and it works the pec a little but help on pressing strength and good tri developement, good for people who can't do dips
