I HATE that word... a guy I dated a long time ago, used that word all the time! He was so annoying! Hmm...maybe it's 'cause he ended up being a spineless moron who was HORRIBLE in bed...nevertheless - I still hate the word! LOL
 
More of a phrase than a word....but I'm am SICK of hearing, "at the end of the day".

Copacetic. I hate that word with a passion. Quit trying to sound so intelligent and just say, "everything's a'right." Too many words in the English language that mean the same thing. Always choose the simplest.

One word I absolutely cannot stand does not exist outside of Texas, and I do not believe there is a proper spelling but the word "idinit". I want to smack anyone who says it for their inability to speak English after spedning their entire life in this country.

What the hell is a VIN number? Vehicle Identification number number? It`s either VIN OR VI number.

Also what`s up with people using the ` instead of the ' for an apostrophe?

as for people saying 'aks' instead of 'ask', i'm sure that's natural for a lot of people in certain environments or communities. it's just common in certain dialects, and dialects often contain examples of words/phrases/sounds that deviate from what we consider the norm. i don't think it's an affectation for most people.

I don't think we have any dialects in Northern Delaware...LOL....I'm referring to people who speak proper English in every way except they say AXE instead of ASK.....it's not pronounced that way, nor is it in anyway the correct pronunciation.....now if one was from, say Cajun country and that was part of their dialect/accent, I could see it....otherwise there is no reason to say "axe."

I used to work with a woman who would freak out if anyone said "vagina." She would turn red, yell, run away....very bizarre....
 
never EVER in my life have i said stink or fart. i refuse to, i dont like the way it sounds and it kind of makes me feel like a pussy. why use those words when u can use shit and rip ass. the words of choice.

Because it is the most vile and offensive thing that you can call a female.

I have only used this word myself to refer to my ex's attorneys. The title fits 100%... there is no lower lifeform IMHO than a cunt divorce attorney.
 
Two pet peeves when it comes to words/phrases...

When someone says, "Huh?"

Is it that hard to say, "Excuse me?" God that makes the other person sound like a fucking imbecile that they can't say two words but can only grunt. I actually refuse to acknowledge someone who says this to me.

The other:

The phrase, "I'm just saying."

WHAT THE FUCK DOES THAT MEAN?
