Well, my guy came over tonight with some pinz for me. (25 guage )
Walked me through everything. He sucked out the oil and showed me what's up with that, and i stuck it in the ol' quad and shot a cc of test 250mg.

no xanax either, didn't do as bad as i thought, i was sure sweating bullets though. the 25 guage sure works good going in but it takes a hellova long time to suck out the oil. hehe. thanks everybody for all the help and advice. i am on my way, i took 40mg of var today and just did my first injection ever about 10 minutes ago.

it's not too bad once he tells me the reason the needle isn't going in further is because my leg was flexed like a rock. LOL gotta relaxxxxxxxx

i hate quad shots...just looking at that veiny area freaks me out...i prefer glutes and delts...but i do use quads with caution

Please tell me that you didn't use the same 25g pin to draw the oil to inject also. If you did pinz are cheap bro and just pick you up a pack of 18g to use to draw the oil, it is so much easier and faster.

Quads are my favorite place to inject as the glutes are just too much of a pain to reach around to these days. Imagine pushing 3ccs thru a 25g in the glutes, it takes forever even when you heat up the solution under hot water for 5 minutes.

Listen to Wulfgar about where to inject he knows what he is talking about.

i went 6" down my leg from my stomach when seated, directly on the top and went in at a 90 deg angle. i went in approx 1/4" and then hit muscle, i know it cause i felt it.
i have no veins on my legs hehe, that show anyway. not really sore this morning, i feel a little lump maybe. no redness or anything........so far so good. when will i feel the effects of the test, not see, just feel that it's in me and working?

Next time. Go 6 inches up from your knee and shoot on the outside of your quad (tear drop) shoot in about halfway between hoizontal and verticle..

rest your leg on something as well.. good luck

get you some 18g to draw out with, its best to NEVER shoot with the same needle you draw with.....pushing it through the rubber stopper will dull the tip, also can get contaminated, also banging it on the bottom of a glass ampule trying to draw it out will dull it also.....its just best practice to make sure the first thing your injection needle ever touches is your skin!

If you are going to shoot into your quads at least use the proper landmarks. Place one hand on your anterior condyle and the other on your greater trochanter, then divide that are into thirds, shoot into the middle third. Don't forget to aspirate and an air lock of 3cc isn't a bad idea either.

i cleaned the rubber with alcohol swabs very good. i will order some 18's tonight. thanks guys

yea, i was about 9" up from the knee, i will try the 45 degree angle approach and 6" from the knee next week. hopefully those 18's are in. i have the screw off syringes so hopfully i can find some screw on 18's. we used a 1cc air lock if that is what i thinkit is. where you draw in 1cc of air and stick into the jar and pressurize it.

I am sure the shot will end up fine. Don't worry about, everyone makes small errors the first time. Doesn't seem to me that you really made any. Many will tell you where to inject but it is all a matter of preference. You just have to do it for a bit and find out which worked better for you. I personally would never stick a needle in my arse, I use it to much to be sore all the time! Get some needles to draw with, they are cheap. If you are going to stick with quads, make sure you asperate!

For my quads I sit down and measure to the mid point between my hip bone and knee and than shot it on the outer side, have had less problems doing it there then on my ass
