Women's Strength Test...Please respond

Hi, this question is for my GF..

she's got a big physical test coming up in feb.. well its for the fire department and its about a 10 minute test involving heavy cardio on a stepmill and tonnes of lifting exercises etc.

here's her situation... about a year ago she was a national level competitor in a particular sport but had some major muscle imbalances in her back and it pulled her discs out of whack and she had to stop training... so up until about a month ago the only training she did was on a swiss ball and some cardio....

now she's been natural up until now.. she used to be 120 pounds at 5 foot 7 and could deadlift 225 for reps nad squat the same on a wobble board...pretty damn good in my opinion...

But her strength right now is WAY down... so she's on some anavar, just 5mg a day of human grade stuff... and she's gonna use this right up until the day of the test...

so here's my questions..

1. i'd like to in a month up the dose of anavar to 10mg a day... what are you opionions on this... also what about throwing in 10mg winny a day as well...

2. she's still using creatine as well... would u say come off of it now, but two weeks before the comp do a creatine loading phase to get her muscles full of the stuff?? remember this involves alot of endurance as well as heavy lifting so i think it will help

She is only using gear to get her strength back quick enough for this test, then that's it... back to natural....

your opinions are GREATLY appreciated.

I'm going to throw another perspective out here. Please don't take this in any way other than as something to think about. The reason that fire departments and police departments give those tests is to make sure that the people they hire are physically capable of doing the job. The job often requires saving the lives of others. If someone uses gear simply to pass the test and does not stay on it they will lose a good bit of the strength that they had at the time that they passed the test and could potentially put someones life at risk simply by being unable to do the job required. IMO if someone is going to use gear to get a job or keep one then they need to stay on the gear in order to do the job otherwise they should do it without.

Thanks Temple, my thoughts exactly. I was reluctant to post the very same thoughts since I don't post here much. I'm a volunteer ff in my town (currently the only female) and passed all the same state certifications as the guys. I can tell you it wasn't easy, I worked my butt off then, still do now, and am stronger now (and a natty). Soooo many people are relying on you, you must maintain that level of conditioning.

..

Yes that's why i stressed the point that she is just speeding up her recovery...

I stated her lifts before... she ran a practice test before her back injury and ACED the test... in fact she was the only female to pass it and she smoked it... and TONNES of males FAILED the test...

she is VERY devoted to strenght training and nutrition, but because of her injury she was majorly setback... she trained VERY hard and followed a very strict nutrition plan just to rehab her back to be able to train again..

once her natural strength comes back there is absoloutely no reason she won't be able to maintain it..and improve even further... kind of the same theory as reaching your natural potential before using gear.. that way your body will be able to maintian higher amounts of muscle mass/strength compared to someone who used gear too early..

I completely understand your issue with someone shouldn't just use gear to pass the test and then slack off.. BUT she had the strength and really has no choice but to use the gear... the next test won't be for 2 more years... so she's gonna bite the bullet and do it..

Anyway with that being said, more advice on her cycle etc. would be greatly appreciated.

.

LOL actually i have a few gh kits laying around..... i'm actually using them to rehab a torn quad.. ya OUCH...

she's really gaining strength back FAST on just 5mg of var...but i want to make sure she gets back 100% before this test....2 years is way to long to try it again...

i wouldn't give her test... maybe a big shot before the test though?? Like 50mg of sustanon??? what do you think of that... or is that to risky..

my biggest worry of starting something right before the test is having problems cause of it... i've got tonnes of human grade winny and anavar right now...

so i guess i'd like to know how women found winny??? any sides??strength gains??? blood pressure probs?? water retention.. i know winny makes me hard but i've heard different about females.

Firefighter stuff

Check out www.firejock.com.
This is my website deicated to fireservice fitness. My firefit credentials are on there as well.
That's me in the back double bicep pose (click the maltese cross in the box).
Please contact me for info at the site addy. It's free, we don't sell stuff on that site.
Remember you must be careful using anabolics during a pre-test phase. They will test you, if selected. Sounds as if she will be able to get up to snuff in time using her present methods. If you need training suggestions in regard to her test, let me know.
Many of these tests are highly specific and require specific training. Some departments use the CPAT (candidate physical ability test- stepmill, drag hose, carry saws, raise ladder etc.) My deptartment does. Some use other "combat type" tests. Let me know the specifics of her test, and I'll share what I know. Also get her on here, or have her contact me directly.
I look forward to hearing from you.

WEll Mr. Bodacious it is good to see you around. Thought maybe I was going to have to send a posse out looking for you, Sheriff.

MMM - my personal experience with winny was good. GREAT strength gains on roughly 7mg/d. The down side was that it was REALLY hard on my joints.
Low dose anavar and creatine would be the route I would take.

..

Duchess thanks for the reply and the link... i just forwarded it to her..

She will be doing the CPAT test... ie. stepmill, dummy drag, etc...

So far shes hasn't done any kind of special training other than normal weight training..

she does like 4 days a week with weights, and 6 with cardio..
only trains each bodypart once a week and focuses on compound exercises like bench, squat, deadlifts, military presses, etc. etc..

also she trains on the step mill with 75 pounds on her back... the test you have to do 1 step a second with this weight for 3 minutes... she does it for 15 right now.... right now her cardio is good to go i think, its just a matter of strength and muscular endurance...

if you could email me a training program or some tips WE would both really appreciate it... thanks again.

Truly the fire service is a unique feild.
I just loooooove my job. Sometimes it's so hard I wonder why I do it. What I've come to know is that all firefolks feel that way at one time or another. For anyone considering this career, think long and hard and know the hard stuff is really hard, but the rewards are so much more than ever imagineable. MMMsauce is on the right path, and with a little specific guidance MMMs. sauce should do quite well. My goal for her is to blow the doors of the test so that when she goes for her interview they'll be pointing and whispering,"that's her, that's the one that smoked the physical!!" Trust me, when that happens, the job is hers.
Gotta dash for now... MMMsauce, you'll be hearing from me.
Anybody else who needs info about fire/police/military physical testing give a holler, it's my specialty.
Duchess:)

The fire service here are on strike at the moment, because their pay sucks (about 8 dollars an hour) and they'd like some more.... nasty govt won't up their pay. I'm happy to pay more taxes to pay 'em more - you can get 7 dollars an hour here working in Mickey D's fer chrissakes...

Anyway, kudos to all you folks who work in the fire service, I admire you greatly. Good luck!

Well, Feb. has passed. Did she pass the tests. I wish I've seen this post sooner, but haven't really been on EF. Anyhow, government jobs such as this usually have drug and lie-detector tests. I'm hoping she went off in plenty of time for the drug test.

I was also extremely motivated to pass the physical part of the police department test. I trained hard, rested and ate well. In one month, my bench went from 145 to 240 lbs... WITHOUT AS. I really can't explain how I did it. I was just motivated to succeed.
