Women at college parties

Lao Tzu said:
Alot of people complain they never get replies on dating sites. WHat are the most effective ways to overcome this?

I think the problem is that on the streets or class, the women aren't really looking so they'll get flattered, but that is about it. At parties the women are looking, but the women are total mental cases so it isn't something I'd want anyway.
Numbers game. You blast out as many emails to chicks that are remotely compatible with you and if you are decently attractive (with a pic) witha decent profile, some will respond. Its all percentages dude. If you send out 100 emails a certain percentage will respond, of that percent a certain percentage you will meet, of that percentage a certain percentage you will fuck, etc.

I'd like to find a setting where I can talk to a large amount of women though. I don't really like approaching them on the streets or in class anymore. The women at parties are totally fucked up inside and I have no desire to hit on most of them. I'm trying to find my element.
Volunteer work is a *great* way to meet women. If the frat scene isn't for you, join a service fraternity. I did, and you can really run into some nice people.

Also, pick labor-intense drives (i.e. food collection, feed the poor, cleanup, etc. etc.). It gives you good time on the ground to interact with the women.

I don't really go to parties much, but decided to try one on Halloween, just to see what it was like. I think that was one of the few actual college parties I've ever been in.

Jesus, those women are messed up inside. One girl was a hot asian (Hot + asian + attractive since puberty + no life experience = bad idea. We learned that in math class) was a manipulative bitch. She asked me if I was a cop too.

Then there was another girl who was drunk and as I was walking through a doorway put her leg up to block the door and started slurring some shit about 'how people dont communicate'. I gently grabbed her ankle and moved her leg.

There was one girl I was talking to then I got cockblocked by her friend.

Man. I consider myself pretty well adjusted and internally motivated/driven (today, I wasn't always like that) and I'm just not used to being around insecure, hateful people. It wasn't a whole lot of fun. I wonder if there are any good stories about parties. To me so many are just so full of people I wouldn't want to be around. Insecure, backbiting, rude, belligerant, etc.

I honestly don't know where I'm going with this. Yeah, I am not party material and never will be. But it'd be nice if there were gatherings that were filled with more mature people I could frequent instead.

I felt the same way on College and guess how I fixed it? I threw my own parties and invited the people I wanted, not just anyone and everyone. I also limited the amount of booze. People could get a good buzz, but not so much that they would get trashed. It may sound lame but people were always asking me when my next party was. It was a fun party without all the drama and garbadge.

try the library.
Tis a good idea. Try anywhere that would match the criteria of the girl you are looking for. A stupid college drunken party will give you stupid college drunken girls. A book store would give you a girl that has a high likely hood of having something upstairs.

My problem is I need to find a girl that is an intellectual and into fitness.

/goes to hover around the sports section at Barnes

I'd definately show up w/ a beer bong and a 30 of keystone

Sounds like you were DD or something.

When I drink sometimes I dont say anything the whole night, get overly hostile and angry or just get chilled out. I hate the pretty boy frat fags, I'll intentionally notify them that they suck at life.

one of my hobbies is thinking about how stupid people in general are. and how my haikus are better than any they could ever come up with.

so, yes, people = stupid. college people = stupid x 10. if there is that special girl at one of those parties who happens to be intelligent, thoughtful, interesting, kind, etc...she'll probably have a golden glow around her. either that, or she might be set apart from the crowd. or she'll be a demon in disguise, walking quietly behind you and waiting to steal your soul. one of those 3 for sure.

what.

Sounds like the norm to me. I never liked parties either. I just like the getting laid part.
