I've read where you mentioned you cycling on and off of CKD for the past 6 months or something like that. How did you do that? When coming off od it, did you gradually add carbs? How many weeks on and off did you go?
 
I did 8 weeks on. Took 2 off. Then did another 8 weeks.

I just eat clean when off and don't wory about carbs. Avoid junk food and shit.

Also, thaks to frakal, I've discovered that Green Tea Extract really does work on body fat.

I'll do another round of CKD Aug - Sept. Because

I actually like the really clean feeling I get from doing the diet. It's a mind-body type of thing when I refer to clean feeling. I just can't stay on it much longer than 7 - 8 weeks though or my recover abilities go way down. That's why I limit it to around 8 weeks. If I could my recovery times didn't change I'd stay with it a lot longer.

Sure does....I've been considering adding the Green Tea to the 7-keto and Eph HCL I'm currently taking....what dosage are you taking? You getting it from BAC?

I hear you....I feel like crap during/after my refeed.....sluggish too. Just geting really burned out on the diet....I'm on week 6.
 
Yep. Around week 7 to 8 is when I start bumping into things every ten minutes. LOL!!!

BAC has the Green Tea Extract. I take 1 gram a day.

I mixed 3 grms of it with a cup of coffee one day and simply started sweating and feeling all ooglee. It took about an hour for the feeling to pass.
 
Man....I did 7 weeks....took on off....now i'm on for 7 weeks again until my vacation.

Lost too much too fast my first time around with the diet but I can't complain about the way my clothes fit now.

Concentrating on staying in ketosis while trying to salvage as much of the little muscle mass that I have left.
 
HG just keep your protein intake up and your muscle mass should be okay.

Yeah....I had been using Mr X's calculator to the letter, but since I got into ketosis in one day after last week's pig out, i'm upping my protein by a good margin this week. As long as i'm in ketosis, i'll keep the protein as high as I can.

Keep your water intake up too!




I can get 40 grams of capped GTE for 7 bucks.....not bad.
 
Mr. X's lil spread sheet is a very useful guide. I use it to bench mark once a month when I'm doing ckd.
