cutiepie just left for a job interview at a doctor's office. don't know what the pay is yet, but it doesn't really matter. hopefully she can snag this job and put her education to work. she graduated from a local business school in January with a specialized associates, Administrative Medical Assistant or something like that. just like any job these days, however, a degree is the equivelant of a high school diploma, and experience is key to gainful employment. kinda hard to get experience when no one wants to hire people with no experience.

it'd be great for her to snag this job, as it'd put stability back into our overall schedule instead of her having the constantly changing schedule she has now. if we can gain that stability, it will make it a lot easier for me to work as well. someone has to be availible to pick the kids up from daycare/summer camp/school and someone has to be at home with them. since i started school in the fall, i've been the one that's had to do all that. time for a change. hopefully she can get this job.

uh, they don't sell appliances at doctor's offices, at least not the last time i checked.

i'm hoping she can get in good with the doctors and get me some "special" perscriptoins :evil:

this thread was worthless til someone asked for pics ;)

she said the interview went well and all 3 people were very pleasant with her as well as seemed to like her. she had to interview with the 2 doctors as well as someone else. she was promised that they would get back to her with either a yes or a no. guess that's a better promise than never getting back to her at all.

40 hours/week, $10/hr. the hours are kind of screwy, monday it'd be 8-7, other days 8-3 and i think one day of 1030-330. full benifits @ $60/paycheck for a family plan. assuming she'd be paid every 2 weeks, that's pretty damn good for health insurance. yeah, the pay seems kind of low, but the cost of living in this area is low as well. we pay $450/mo rent for half of a double house, somewhere between 13-1500 sq ft.

i'm really hoping she lands this job. we'll just have to keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best. i'm sick of her getting turned down for jobs and sending out her resume and not even hearing back from places. if i'm sick of it, imagine how she feels.

Second of all, no woman would be stupid enough.

Good luck with the job! I know it can be hard constantly sending out resumes and not getting an answer. Don't give up, keep trying and you'll eventually land something.

Where abouts are you two located if you don't mind me asking?

Well that was a waste of bandwith. I am suprised your internet provider doesnt charge you extra for wasting perfectly good bandwith on something that you would need a microscope to see.

As for searching for it what do I search under? "Guinnes book of world records for the smallest and most laughed at dick in history", or "Is that person supposed to be male"?

I stay at home and care for our daughter while my wife works. It just works out better that way for us considering circumstances. Everyody is different and has to do what they can. This is`nt a cookie cutter life we`re all living. Some couples can`t even afford to have one person stay home. We don`t live in the 1950`s anymore.

Anyway... good luck and keep us updated on the job hunt.
 
it's not like there's just one paycheck coming into this house either. good ol uncle sam is paying me the GI Bill while i'm in school. my income is still legit, i just don't have to punch a time clock to get it.

flashbacks are a killer. i'm still having Vietnam flashbacks that give me day long erections.....and i wasn't even born til after 'nam.

lil girl is from her ex husband. she's 6.

we have a son that's 3 1/2.

dog - cinnamon - 3 yr old bitch, shepard mix

cat - ariel - 2 years old, female

dog - kobe - year and a half old or so (annoying mother fucker too), balls removed

cat - tiger - 3-4 mos old, will have balls removed before he sprays my house or he'll be removed from my house via drop kick out the back door.

not enough guns. need a bigger firearms budget. :(
 
theres another thing im too proud to do: raise someone elses kid. you can get a bigger gun budget by getting a job. astonishing but true
 
how many guns do you need exactly? Have you tried auctionarms.com? You can probably get a used gun for 1/2 what a new one costs.

actually, i only want a few more. i'd like a .308 sniper rifle, AK47, maybe an AK74, 30-06 or 30-30 would be a nice addition as well cause i'd like to start hunting deer eventually. couple more handguns would be cool too, maybe a .45, something with a bit more stopping power than the makarov.

seen stuff on auctionarms and a few other sites. reasonable prices for most things. just don't have the budget. maybe tax return time next year i can get a new toy.
