Please Scroll Down to See Forums Below I am particularly interested in Winny's effect on the prostate(as I have a family history of prostate cancer). Wouldn't it be true that since "stanozolol is a precursor to the dihydrotestosterone" that Winny would aggravate the Prostate. I am really interested in any knowledge you bros can shed on this.

Winny does not convert to DHT, which is a prime culprit in worsening existing prostate cancer. It is not know for sure that Testosterone and DHT can actually cause prostate cancer, although some think it may in those that are genetically predisposed.
As a side please note that estrogen is also figured by many to be a culprit in prostate cancer so the combo of test, DHT and estrogen from testosterone use would be way worse than winny use IMHO.
My guess would be that the milder androgens like winny and nandrolone are easier on the prostate just like they are easier on the hair line.
Who really knows the affect of other androgens on prostate tissue though...the studies have not been done.
The main concern with winny is its tendancy to lower good cholesterol(HDL) and raise total cholesterol because it is 17aa even in the injectable form. Other than permanent alterations in HPTA the cholesterol issue is the worse potential side in steriod user IMO.

Can you explain what you mean by "permanent alteration in the HPTA"? I thought that with Clomid this is not a problem.
Also, would propecia help to both save the hairline while on Winny as well as afford some protection to the prostate?
Permanent alteration in the HPTA......it is possible and does happen bro but usually after extensive long term use. Simply put the use of AAS can result in one NEVER recovering normal testosterone levels. This is not as big a deal as it sounds because testosterone replacement therapy will fix this problem but that means wearing patches and or injecting for the rest of your life.
NO Finasteride will not protest your hair line or prostate from Winny as winny does not covert to DHT via 5 alpha reductaze. Finasteride inhibits 5 alpha and thus inhibits the formation of DHT somewhat. DHT is by far the hardest compound on the hair line. All adrogens can have a negative impact on the hair line but nandrolone is safest by far as it coverts to DHN which is far weaker than DHT in regard to hair loss.
Finasteride will only help when taking test and roids that convert to DHT. Test is the worst by far . Roids that convert are Halo and methyltest.
Use topical Spironolactone with the other androgens as this is a great antiandrogen at the scalp.
