Winstrol Misconceptions?

Here's a part of an article I came accross:

Adding it to a heavy bulking cycle could be problematic, as Stanozolol is a 17aa compound, meaning that it´s been altered to endure the first pass through your liver without being destroyed. This makes it an orally active compound; so many people choose to take the pills which are available from both legitimate pharmaceutical companies as well as Underground Labs. Unfortunately, since it is 17aa, it is also liver toxic& in fact; Stanozolol has one of the worst hepatoxicity (mg for mg) of any steroid. This is the reason its addition to a bulking cycle could be problematic; generally a bulking cycle will be very heavy, dosage wise as well as toxicity-wise. It also has undesirable results on Cholesterol, and a mere 6mgs/day of Stanozolol can lower HDL by 33% and raise LDL by 29% (3). Cardiac Hypertrophy, even at lower doses could be a concern with Winstrol as well (4) Thus, many people limit their intake of Stanozolol to precontest or Summer-cutting types of cycles. It´s generally accepted that due to the toxicity issues of Stanozolol, its use should be limited to 6 weeks& as with anything though, many people have run it for up to 12 weeks with no problems.

Question:

Can Winstrol be used on a bulking cycle?
Is it really a "cutting" drug, in the sense that is there such a thing as a "cutting" drug?
 
You'll probably get many responses to this, and most should state that any drug can be a cutting drug. It may be easier to cut on winny b/c you don't retain any water and it seems to promote lean muscle mass. I have heard it is brutal on HDL/LDL- which would be my main concern. All 17aa are toxic, as for as stating that mg for mg it is the most toxic- I'd have to see some research on that.
 
cutting is diet. winstrol is still designed to build muscle. some are just less prone to water retention.
 
cutting is all diet.....winstrol will promote lean mass gains.

YEAH and its funny the guys that think high reps are for cutting and low reps for bulking, LOL muscle stimulation is muscle stimulation and there is no "rep" correlation im guessing someone will challenge this????
 
I did a cycle once of Test, Dbol and Winstrol. OMFG!!! I will never forget it! Hard, strong, veiny as hell! Ripped! Horny! Happy!

I am doing test prop/tren/winny/deca/eq right now. I was really thinking my bp was going to go threw the roof. Funny thing is my bp went from 140/87 to 120/75 in the last month. I have been eating big time healthy though.

Any way just thought I would say lol.

prob had a low bf% when u took the winny right? ppl say a lot of ppl with 15% and more wont truly see how it works

I believe the high reps are for cutting as doing higher reps is usually a faster pace workout. At least when I'm cutting thats my philosophy, its like adding in extra cardio. While 1 rep max may wear me out, I'm not sweating nearly as bad as when I do high reps. I agree muscle stimulation is muscle stimulation but higher lighter faster reps are definitely the way to go during a cutting phase.
 
i believe diet is cutting, and you can cut or bulk on any gear depending on diet some retain more water some retain less some give your body a hardening effect, there was a guy on another board who ran 900mgs test /500deca and a little bit of t3 and he got ripped to shreds,

All the answer to that question is in the first 100 pages of ''Essentials of Strength Training and Conditioning"

I think everyone should be able to use that book for reference, as one of many to facilitate somewhat educated discussion

I've never taken Winny before, but was thinking of running with it for 6-8 weeks alone just for the summer. What would you suggest as a PCT if any? I've heard that a PCT is not needed unless your running 12 weeks.

please dont listen to whoever told you that.
run test with the winny and you will love it
prop 8 weeks and winny the last 6
