Winstrol & Hair Loss - Please Help!

This is my first post - need some help please!

I'm 37 yr. old male, took Stanozolol for 2 weeks at 50mg/cc, one cc every other day via drinking the injectable. I have never had hair loss problems previously, nor any type of male pattern baldness problems and have a pretty thick head of hair. After 2 freakin' weeks I noticed some hair loss, not extreme or anything but noticed some strands coming out when washing my hair. I quit immediatley, which was 13 days ago, and I am still getting some strands coming out. Went to my doctor and told him about it, he said it would stop with time. How long will this continue, am I freaking out for no reason? Anything I can do to stop it?? Any advice will be much appreciated, thanks.

I was told that using Nizoral shampoo helps. I'm actually looking into the same thing. I read an artifcle which leads me to believe Nizoral will help.

Sorry, wish I was more help.

nothing helps that much, yeah the shampoo may help alittle, also theres this stuff called Polysorbate 60 which i thought was pretty helpful. but in all honesty if you were concerned with hair you made the wrong choice of drugs. you might see hairloss for months, maybe you should, if you arent already, start taking propecia i mean at your age if hairloss is in your family it can only help, winstrol or not. i think sometimes winstrol can trigger mpb early in someone if they are genitically predisposed. the only problem with the propecia is if you start you dont plan on ever stopping, its not real expensive, but its not cheap either.

and drinking it, cmon, do it right.

it is normal to find hair on your hands when washing your hair,,i know we tend to a get a little paranoid when taking something. i have been guilty of that as well

winstrol directly binds, so the only thing that can help is a topical anti-androgen (nizoral is one).

though it may be stress and winstrol also causes drying of the scalp which may increase shedding which is not necessarily androgenic hair loss. Stress also causes this

i dont understand your direct binding comment,

I do agree that MPB has evidence to suggest it is an inflamatry process..i did notice my scalp was dry when taking certain things and my hair shed massive amounts,,the things that made my scalp greasy i did not experiece any hairloss..weird

my girl was taking 5mg x 2 a day and after 5-6 days she combed her and nd big chunks came out

it means that you cannot use a 5 alpha reducatase inhibitor to reduce its effect. Hence use of a topical anti-androgen is really the only option (if winstrol is causing the hair loss via AR or even non genomic binding site).
