Wine

This may not be a popular thread, but i thought i'd see how many of you like wine?

I am a big red wine lover. What's your fave?

I've been enjoying Errazuriz Merlot (Chile), Lindeman Cawarra Shiraz-Cabernet (Australia), KWV Cabernet Suavignon(South Africa), Cecchi Sangiovese Di Toscana (Italy).

I enjoy a nice glass of red...

Personal favorites at this time come from a small winery out of Iowa called Summerset Wines

The first is a red table wine -- similar to a good port -- it's called Caba Foch; the second is a red chilled wine -- a lot like Lambrusco -- called Caba Moch. I also like Altano red from Portugal, and anything from the Classico region.

Little doe can't handle wine? JK playa'.

Wine is alright, but don't go out of my way to get some. I like red though. Right now I'm in my Yuengling and Sambucca phase. Think I may hold onto them though. Except at Christmas time then its OJ and Rum. At the parties they all think I'm trying to prevent a cold or something.

perhaps only root will get the joke

but I've found that wine is alright, but the icons that you get in windows aren't always right under wine. but in some cases the programs are actually faster.
my main hope was to get eudora working best under it - but haven't really used it since '98 or '99

Going into the future to get your wine Buck? :lmao:

My mom's into red wine so I guess thats where I get the taste for it. Go out and get this shit called Bada Bing. I heard it tastes like sour apples. My stepmom seen it and since we all love the Sorpranos, just had to get it.

if you are on a date, nothing says classy like:
boones farm
mad dog 20/20
boxed wine

and I think night train is a form of "wine" as well if I recall correctly.

be careful though, they are all quite pricey

Ever been to NAPA VALLEY, CA. TRIPLEV? IF you are into wines, YOU must visit there!

Never been to Napa Valley, but have had wines from there -- I think the last one I sampled from there was Electra

I'm working on 4 bottles right now

2 Cabernet Sauvignon's-1 by Kendall Jackson, the other by Santa Rita

1 Pinot Noir by Meridian
1 Chardonnay Jadot by Louis Jadot

....and Kendall Jackson is consistent quality.

Machine - It's been a while for me, but I remember all too well myself just how awful that shit is!

Yeah I like Kendall Jackson, my mom always has a bottle around. I was surprised to see the HEB near my place had tons of the 98 Vintners Reserve on sale so I bought a few bottles

Little known fact #4402

The best wine comes straight from a frenchman's chest cavity.

LOL! haha

My dad drinks a glass of red wine every night before bed while watching TV or working, and always drinks white wine while eating fish, his doctor recomended a glass of red wine a day for him.

Wine tastes like fermented grape juice or some shit. Who came up with that idea?

But I'm trying to like it for my wife's sake. (She thinks I ain't got no culture!) :D

I dabble in the wine biz. Great 01 harvest coming up if weather cooperates.

Heres the scoop on wine:

The difference between a 6$ bottle and a 40$+ bottle of red in costs to produce is 3$ tops. Its just that the winemakers blend so skillfully that some snob reccommends a high buck bottle due to his/her taste buds.

I dont drink wine, but the snobs all seem to love whatever Silver Oak puts out. They say the best of the best.

just my .02cents

wow lots of responses. i too started drinking wine with my husband when he told me what he thought of girls drinking beer from a bottle. the old philosphy of what she drinks is what she is...
but now i love it and try new ones all the time.
