What happened, did she have a fit because you said no? Obviously, it would be necessary that you meet her kids if you think you guys have a future together. If she freaked simply because you believe it's too early in your relationship to meet them, than I'm thinking she isn't all that stable.

men and women are all bullshit period........it's just different flavors of bullshit. We just miss each other in general. I too used to think women were nuts.........now I understand that the whole world is just nuts, irrevocably so. Java, when you let go of thinking through life through the traditional "male" lenses.......you'll start to understand the other sex better. Doesn't make them easier to deal with......but at least you "understand" where they're coming from. I'd like to expound on that further, but I spotted lulu up in this thread and I just don't feel like having one of my points miscontrued and taken on the magic carpet ride of tangential possibilities. 
But suffice to say Java........for every dumb woman you meet, there's a man that raised her that way. Same goes for guys. Smart women tend not to be raised by men that allow their daughters to base their self worth on the opinions of the opposite sex.

Of course I don't think she's actually dumb. She just likes me a lot and wants to know how I'll interact with her children; She's thinking long term. I respect her for wanting to know how a potential mate will interact with her offspring but that is for down the road, IMO. I always make myself clear about when the dating process starts but she has created a different time table. The next thing I expect is a "I care about you too much so soon and need my space."
