I am not planning on cutting till around April, but I am curious as to what some you may think about a diet that is not a keto-diet. I cannot follow such a diet as work and expenses would not allow for it. I was wondering if anyone has ever had success with a low-moderate carb diet. My protein is always high, at least 40 grams every 2 hours. Sometimes as much as 70grams, and as high as 75-80 grams for the last two meals of the day. If I was to cut back to 100-200 carbs a day and keep the fat a bit on the higher side, would ths lead to acceptable fat loss and muscle preservation? I don't know my current bf (bulking anyway), but 10% would be cool with me, as long as I can see my abs, I don't ned to be 5-7%. Just wanna look good next summer. Thanks for the help.
