Will they eat dinner?

We`re having 2 guests come over and we made them dinner but did`nt tell them we were cooking anything. They may have eaten already before they came. They`re coming from a kids Birthday Party right before they get here.

Do you think they`ll eat dinner or not?

If I wasn't expecting dinner, i'd eat before i got to your house so I wouldn't die of hunger or resort to asking you for something to eat.

Even if they already ate, excuse yourself and them sorry, but you are hungry and have them sit at the table and chat while you and your wife eat. Unless what you cooked looks and smells un-appetizing (sp?), I'm sure they'll join in with you.

You were right. This is how it went down. When they got there we told them about dinner while putting the appetizers and snacks down. We had chips nuts, shrimp, some wine and beer. They said they just came for a quick hello to congratulate us on our new house and would`nt be eating really. BTW We`ve been in the house since 2000. lol

A couple of HOURS later everyone was hungry, we all sat down to a nice dinner. We had two dishes, Lemon Chicken with Pasta and Pork loin with small potatoes. For desert we had Ice Cream cake (Snickers) and Strawberries a homemade dip. The food was delicious.

It was a good night. no pics this time. Thanks for listening.
