Wierd, I hope minor, Injury

I was lifting Saturday night doing clean-up on muscles I kind of slacked off on and I was doing curls fairly heavy. When all of a sudden I twisted wrong or something and I got a pain just where the bottom of my rib cage ends. It was not that bad until the next day when it was kind of hard to twis and or to breath really meaning it hurt when I inhaled. Kind of feels like a muscle was kinked and I strained it when it was kinked but not sure. I was feeling much better today when I twisted real quick again out of reaction to catch something and now I am right back to where I started from with the bad pain again. Anyone else had something like this happen? How long did it last? Do you have any idea what it is? ideas appreciated. In all actuality it feels kind of like it is in under the bottom of my rib cage.

Ideas?
 
Nobody else huh? It is kind of a wierd one ! Oh well. I will try C&C and see if anyone there has ever had something like this happen

Bro, sounds like you pulled a muscle. That area is real sensitive and it will "take your breath away" and hurt like a mofo for a few days. Happens to me. If you were doing real heavy curls it will put a lot of pressure and starin on the stabilizer muslce in the mid section.
 
Most likely a pulled intercostal or external oblique. Happens to me every time I do heavy dumbell rows. Probably because my form suffers a bit as I get up around the 160's and beyond. Back still grows like a bastard though.
