Why won't my TV turn on?

This piece of crap won't turn on. The outlet is fine. It is plugged in. The remote doesn't work. The power button on the TV won't work. It doesn't do anything at all. WHY NOT? It was fine this morning. Did it die and go to TV heaven? :alien:

The only thing tv is good for is seeing Star Treck the next Generation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so is there no power flowing through the TV when it is plugged in

check the plug (damn yank plugs, you guys are AC arent you....)

do you have a fuse somewhere in your electronics? check that it may (unlikely) have blown out

try it in a different power point

try a different plug?!?

if its not any of these its probably the TV
 
I'm sorry to hear about your tube, specially during March Madness, I would go insane!!
If it makes you feel any better, it's almost sunday, and thats when Best Buy runs their sale, so look in the paper for the Best Buy add, and see what you can get. If you need some help with money, let me know, I hook it up Western Union style.

It was the TV in my room that went down, I still have another one out in the living room, but now I'll have to wait till the roommate leaves to watch the sci-fi channel, or some nature show, or porn!!!

Ok, I will! I hope it's one of these minor things...it's a small luxury I enjoy right before going to sleep....

I'm glad you like the new avatar!! I love boxing...I've only hit bags tho, and that is good enough for me for now. As for the rounds, hehe, well, I'm going for a few rounds of something tonight prolly...dunno what kind yet tho. ;)
