Why when you eat seafood

esp boiled shrimp or crawfish, can you never get in enough fluids?

Am I just nuts or is this normal? I had boiled shrimp tonight and have had a 1/2 gal of water and 2 diet cokes and im still freaking thirsty. Ill prolly be up all night drinking and having to tinkle.

The shrimp yes, but I've had pond crawfish, fresh water and still get this.

I knwo the iodine has alot to do with it.
