Last night I posted a thread about a Vet in TJ. It now appears to have been removed.

I'd just like to know who removed it and why. I didn't think there was anything in it that would cause a problem. If there was, I'd like to make sure I'm clear on what it could have been, so that I can be more careful about what I post in the future.

Thank You,

Dan

I was the last one to post on your thread. I mentioned a particular Vet in TJ, which is a legitimate business in TJ - not a "source". That could be why it was removed. Who the fuck knows. Mods are hypersensitve to source posting and for good reason. I didn't think posting the name of a VET in another country would qualify for "source posting" but you never know.

You can see why mods have to be careful, open sourcing destroys sites and draws unwanted fed attention. Posting a vet name is kind of source posting, i would keep all that to Pm's

Contrary to many people's beliefs... selling steroids is NOT legal in Mexico. It may be done at some shops... but it is definitely against the law. People who post about shops doing it... especially specific shops can cause a world of hurt for the shopkeeper. It is not a "legitimate" business. It is a black market trade.

While I agree with most of what you said, buying Vet gear is legal in Mexico so long as you have a script, which is very easy to obtain.

You do not have a proper understanding of what is and is not legal in Mexico... so drink a big cup of coffee and learn rather than speak/write.

Shops that sell juice can take major heat. Period. It isn't a matter of getting a script. It's a matter of working with an often corrupt system where people can get handed their heads.

Mexico isn't America. The world down there doesn't work the way white boys think it should.

Shops that sell openly are usually protected shops. Shops that sell on the side are taking a huge risk. Waving a script at a Federale and telling him you have a right to sell it doesn't work for Mexican shopkeepers. Many of these people have to balance their fears against their need to feed 12 relatives.

I'm not disputing any of this nor do I want to get in a flame-throwing match with you. I don't profess to be an expert on Mexican law and I have a sneaking suspicion that you aren't either.

The shopkeeper at this particular Vet I frequent in TJ has assured me on several occasions that if I ever get pulled over by a Federale to show the cop my script and tell him where I bought the gear. If that doesn’t work he instructed me to call him from jail (if it came to that) and he'll come get me out. All the cops are looking for is a way to scam money off gringos anyway. They could really care less about any "laws" being broken. Once you pay them off they let go with your gear. I know this because it happened to me last year in TJ.

What you've written reinforces that you are clueless to what is going on. I repeat... you need to learn a lot more. You also need to change your screen name.

Whatever...I guess if I spent all day glued to my computer screen critiquing other people's posts like you seem to do I would be "more informed". Your screen name fits you like a glove. I can just picture you sitting there on your "sofa" as if it were some fucking throne berating people and their posts as if you were the High and Mighty! Get a fucking life and redirect your sanctimonious remarks to someone who cares!

SG you act like its Fort Knox with special agents.. Ive been to Mex about 10 times and never did i need a script or even got questioned and ive been to a ton of places and they openly sell and dont hide it either. Ive never been busted. And im sure that if two guys are talking about it on a internet website i dont think they are hunt the place down and shut them down. You have too much computer brain.
