Why the hell isnt this band famous????

allthese crap nu-metal acts get famous like slipknot and mudvayne and godsmack..i simply CANNOT understand why SOILWORK is not famous and not selling BILLIONS of records liek they're entitled to. if ppl can stomach the aforementioned crap acts, why can they not idolize soilwork and give them the respect they're so entitled to! bah! granted old soilwork songs are alittle harder to get into for the mainstream mtv crowd, but new soilwork.. anyone can get into. so i present to you, new soilwork:

i can totally see these songs being used in action movie soundtracks (like slipknot, tool or korn)! i mean theyre liek all the bands i mentioned only BETTER in every way: more technical riffs.. better vocalist.. better lyrics.. better everything- (k, maybe not music videos).

cause he sounds like shit. He just sounds like he's yelling while gargling the spit in his mouth. Listen to mudvayne songs like Happy, Not Falling, Forget to Remember he can actually sing. IDK just the way the guy in the other band sounds it just crappy, reminds me of Hatebreed.

i have all those songs. i prefer world so cold. i got tired of mduvayne cuz once i started playing guitar i began to see all their songs consisted of the same powerchord structure and got bored of it. their bassist is ill though

what sells is rap, emo/wussy rock, and shit you see on american idol. rest is country.

the stuff you mention is more underground niche type stuff. dedicated fanbase, but millions of $ don't exist. Death metal, nu-metal, classic rock, etc. Important, sells tickets, but can't overtake an industry.
